Shipping policy

Delivery Responsibility

Service Area: We provide professional delivery and on-site setup throughout the Calgary & surrounding Areas. Delivery fees are calculated based on the distance from our studio (located in Rundle NE) and the complexity of the setup.

Order Minimum: A minimum order of $50 (excluding delivery fees) is generally required for delivery services. 

Standard Delivery Windows: Deliveries are made between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Due to routing logistics and local traffic, standard deliveries (helium balloons, bouquets, and smaller compositions) are executed within designated time windows: Morning (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM) or Afternoon (1:00 PM – 6:00 PM).

If you require a tighter timeframe, note your preferred 1-hour arrival window in the "Order Special Instructions" at checkout. As a boutique studio, we make every effort to accommodate precise timing requests based on our daily routing. However, strict exact-time drop-offs cannot be completely guaranteed due to traffic and unforeseen logistical delays.

Deliveries on holidays (including Calgary Stampede parade day) may be subject to limited availability and premium rates.

Large Event Installations: For comprehensive decor (photo zones, arch backdrops, and large structural setups), installation and teardown times are calculated individually. Our team will coordinate a precise setup schedule with you directly after booking to ensure completion prior to your event start time.

Please ensure all delivery details are correct.

Balloon Wonders YYC is not responsible for issues resulting from:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address
  • No access to the delivery location
  • Recipient unavailable at the agreed time

In such cases, redelivery may require an additional fee.

Pickup Orders

Self-pickup is available from our Calgary studio. There is no minimum order requirement for self-pickup.

  • By Appointment Only: We operate a private design studio. Pickups are assigned within strict 30-minute time slots. Upon order confirmation, our team will contact you to coordinate and secure your exact pickup time. Arriving outside your designated window may result in delays, as the studio is not open for walk-ins.
  • Recomended Vehicle Size: Professional balloon arrangements occupy significant volume. Standard sedans or compact cars are insufficient. An SUV, minivan, or large hatchback is required. Prior to arrival, all rear seats must be folded completely flat, and the cargo space must be 100% empty (no car seats, strollers, or groceries).
  • Climate Control & Safety: All balloon products must be transported inside a fully enclosed, temperature-controlled cabin. We will not release products for transport in open pickup truck beds, trailers, or attached to vehicle exteriors under any circumstances. Wind, direct UV exposure, and extreme temperature shifts will cause immediate damage or popping. Once the product is loaded safely into your vehicle, liability for its condition transfers entirely to the client.

Once an order has been picked up, full responsibility transfers to the client.

We are not responsible for any damage during transportation.
